Today has been great the best so far. First of all we did a 7.25 mile hike to get to Birdoswald Fort. This was where we stopped for dinner. Also whilst we were there we had a nosey around the museum and Skip was well generous and paid extra for us to do an activity.

After doing our activity we were given medals for collecting 2 stickers in our passport. The activity we completed was similar to orienteering. We were given an alphabet and had to figure out the name of a warrior, the answer was Beowolf. In the beginning we struggled but soon we got the idea. After this was our time t have a look in the shop, Hathi had my money, so I wasn't able to buy anything. Other people bought fudges, magnets, key rings and much much more. In the afternoon we finished our hike in 3 hours doing 5.875 miles. During the last mile a huge rain cloud surrounded us and left us soaking! But then our chauffeur - a beaver leader - saved us and drove us back to our new camp site 'Rattlingate'. When we arrived we had to find our belongings and wait for our leaders to escort us to oour new room, then we had a look around our home for the next 4 days, now I am just about to get to bed, ready for my new adventure tomorrow. xx
