Katie's Day.

Well this Morning we all got to sleep in because the leaders thought that it would be nice to let us stay in bed . I like them for that. The leaders made us sandwiches because we were late getting out of bed and they thought that it would make up for lost time.

Next thing we got dropped off the mini bus where we got picked up from last night and started to walk.I thought that it was all right because my feet were not hurting because we were walking on the flat ground :). we stopped and had dinner and then carried on through some farms then back on the roads. couldn't wait to get back and have a shower .Then it was time to come back and everyone was tired but they were glad that one leader was there to pick them up.

When we got in we were aloud to chill out for a bit and that was really nice because it took your mind off walking.

It is eight o'clock in the morning and no scouts have woken yet. If they went to sleep when they went to bed they would be up now ready for the day.

I am very proud of how they have made the walk so far, it is a very easy stretch now as we are near the coast and the walking is easier.

Can't wait to get home to a deep, hot bath and soft fluffy towels.

Off to wake them all up for bacon butties.

To-date the scouts and leaders have walked 72.5 miles it just appears more it is probably the effect of walking up hills. Going down is easy.

Call back tomorrow for further updates by the scouts again.
